Adam Friedman, MD, FAAD
Adam Friedman, MD, FAAD, is the founding member of our Advisory Board and is professor and chair of dermatology, serving as the director of the Residency Program, Translational Research, Hidradenitis Suppurativa and the Supportive Oncodermatology Programs in the Department of Dermatology at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Washington, DC.
Dr Friedman has published more than 310 papers/chapters and 3 textbooks on both his research and a variety of clinical areas in dermatology, with an emphasis on emerging medical therapies and addressing gaps in inclusive education/care.
He is also committed to resident and medical education, serving as senior editor of Dermatology In-Review, co-chair of the ODAC Dermatology, Aesthetic and Surgical Conference and the MedscapeLIVE! Las Vegas Dermatology Seminar, founding director of Krazy Kodachromes and Core Crushers, and served as founding director of the Oakstone Institute’s Dermatology Board Review and Dermatology for Primary Care series. He also serves as President of HS Connect, Derma Care Access Network and Chair of the American Academy of Dermatology Nominating Committee and Annual Meeting Poster Exhibit Task Force.
Dr Friedman has received multiple awards, including two AAD Presidential citations, the Nationals Home Run hero award, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Rising Star - Clinical Practitioner Award, the Derma Care Access Network Advocacy Leadership Award, the American Dermatological Association Young Leader Award, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Cutting Edge Research Award, and the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology Innovations in Residency Training Award.


Laura Beacham, MMSc, PA-C
Laura Beacham, MMSc, PA-C is a board-certified dermatology Physician Assistant with nearly a decade of clinical experience specializing in medical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. With a commitment to personalized, evidence-based patient care, Laura skillfully utilizes a wide range of advanced treatments, including medical-grade and prescription topical and systemic therapies, neuromodulators, soft tissue fillers, biostimulators, and numerous laser modalities (Excimer/Xtrac, Vascular/PDL, Pigment/Long-pulse & Q-Switch Nd:YAG, Non-ablative Er:YAG, IPL/Lumenis M22).
In addition to her clinical practice, Laura is deeply invested in education and industry leadership. She serves as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer and Preceptor at Emory University School of Medicine, where she delivers all dermatology lectures for the PA program and provides hands-on instruction in procedural dermatology. She also developed dermatology modules for COPE Health Solutions’ postgraduate residency curriculum.
Laura is the founder of SHOPDERM and The Consult Club, a growing community and event series that brings science-backed skincare education to life through sold-out in-person events, a podcast, and a newsletter. Known for her warm, relatable teaching style, Laura makes complex dermatologic concepts approachable and actionable for patients, peers, and consumers alike. She currently serves on multiple clinical advisory boards, where her insights help guide product development, practitioner education, and consumer trust.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Laura earned her Master of Medical Science at Emory University School of Medicine and now lives in Atlanta with her husband, three energetic sons, and two beloved dogs.
Keshav Singh, Ph.D.
Keshav Singh, Ph.D. is a world leader in the role of mitochondria in health and disease. He is the Joy and Bill Harbert Endowed Chair and Director of Cancer Genetics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and is also Professor of Genetics, Dermatology, Pathology, and Environmental Health. He is also an expert in mitochondrial genetics, numtogenesis, cancer genetics, and cancer-health disparities. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Mitochondrion.
Dr. Singh has been cited in numerous newspapers and magazines and has given interviews on radio and TV shows on various topics of public interest. His research has been highlighted in Nature, National Geographic, US News and World Report, Forbes, Vogue, Bazaar, Beauty Crew, Bloomberg, and many other news outlets around the world.
Dr. Singh founded the Mitochondria Research and Medicine Society in the U.S. and India and is instrumental in promoting understanding and awareness of mitochondrial diseases around the globe. He has organized numerous scientific meetings and workshops on mitochondria-related topics and has given many keynote lectures and chaired or co-chaired scientific sessions at national and international professional conferences. Dr. Singh has served or serves on the editorial board of many scientific journals and is the author of over a hundred research publications and three books. He has served or serves on various grant reviewpanels in the U.S., Austria, Italy, the U.K., Poland, Singapore, and othercountries. He has won several awards and has been recognized as Global Indian and Innovation Heroes by Newsweek.
Dr. Singh did his undergraduate degree in India, his Ph.D. in Australia, and hispostdoctoral studies at Harvard. After completing his postdoctoral studies, hewas named Assistant Professor of Oncology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Before moving to UAB, he was at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (Buffalo, NY),where he rose through the ranks to Professor and then to DistinguishedProfessor of Oncology.


Marie Limnios
Marie Limnios is the founder and president of Redhype Creative Marketing Agency (RCMA), established in 2005. Andrew Draganski Ph.D.
Andrew Draganski, Ph.D. completed his Ph.D. in food science at Rutgers where he focused on studying molecular mobility in model biological systems utilizing both intrinsic and GRAS-status optical probes, and soon thereafter joined Dr. Joel Friedman's laboratory at Albert Einstein College of Medicine; there, he worked on the advancement and further characterization of the lab's novel topical delivery platform, eventually becoming the primary inventor of Zylö’s Z-pod® delivery technology, as well as its SNO-pod™ delivery platform. Now V.P. of Product Development at Zylö, he is spearheading commercialization efforts as he studies the effect of particle size, charge distribution, surface functionalization, and drug loading on the subsequent interaction of Z-pods and SNO-pods with the skin. Andrew earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan, a B.A. in food science from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in food science from Rutgers.
